About Moreton Bay Physie- 

Established in 2015, Moreton Bay Physie has had the pleasure of introducing Physie to the Moreton Bay region in what has been a hugely successful adventure. We are driven to continue to provide a modern, vibrant and family orientated dance club to our members and outer community. Our team have a wealth of knowledge and experience through many generations of being BJP Physie members and along with our large support team, we are excited to provide high quality classes & a supportive community to all of our members in a fun, friendly and professional environment.

More about our Teaching Team: 

Mel- Director & Associate (7yrs - Ladies, Stretch & Strengthen & Dance Fusion Choreographer)

As the head associate of Moreton Bay, Mel established the club in 2015 with a dream of sharing her love of Physie. Throughout her 20+ year Physie career, Mel has many personal highlights including- 4 time National Finalist, 6 time state place getter and 18 time state finalist. Combining this experience with her professional qualifications in dance (Bachelor of Creative Industries) & education (Diploma in Education) as well as BjP accredited level 3 training, Mel strives to provide the best quality classes in the region.

Nikki- Associate (3yrs - Ladies, Stretch & Strengthen & Dance Fusion Choreographer)

From the start, Nikki has been an integral part of our club's growth and classroom environment. As an associate teacher Nikki specialises in creating a nurturing and supportive connection with every student. Throughout her physie career, Nikki's highest achievements include- Placing 5th in Australia, 4 time National finalist, 3 time state place getter & 14 time state finalist. Her qualifications include a Certificate 3 in Early Childhood & she is currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance) at QUT.

Tracie- Associate (Seniors & Ladies)

As the core of our clubs family-friendly values, Tracie has always played a pivotal role in the creation and continuation of our community-centred environment. With her specialised way of teaching and many decades of Physie expertise, Tracie loves teaching our seniors class (our highest difficulty of syllabus) and watching her students growth and development throughout the year. Tracie's highest achievements include- 5 time State place getter & 12 time State finalist.
